We mentioned the Cape Fear Botanical Garden in our "Events" section, but we wanted to let you know that it is one of our favorite things to do in Fayetteville North Carolina all year. It is only two miles from downtown and is located between the Cape Fear River and Cross Creek. There are 80 acres of greenery to explore at this wonderful location. Its carefully curated gardens are worth a visit at any time of year, but spring is probably the best. Cape Fear Botanical Garden is the ideal place to connect with nature, whether you want to escape to a flowery oasis or attend one of the special events.
